Corneal arc
Corneal arc is a total or partial opaque/white circle around the outer zone of the iris. It has started to develop in most people over 50 but risk factors are increased if it develops before the age of 40. It is also known as the calcium-cholesterol ring and is suggestive of a predisposition towards higher calcium/fat deposits in tissues and blood vessels. The corneal arcus’s position indicates the area of body most effected. For instance, if it appears in the upper (brain) area of the iris – blood and nutrient circulation to the brain can become impaired, or in the lower area of iris (refer to pic above) – blood circulation in legs may be impaired. Naturopathic treatment can help greatly so speak to Mark. Also supplements being taken already should be assessed because inorganic mineral intake (especially salt!!!) must be reduced.
In conjunction with other natural treatment, diet and lifestyle advice I have found the two flower essences Rosemary and Forget-Me-Not very helpful.
