The Ring of Determination is a continuous white band at the periphery of the iris (see above) – the circulatory zone in Iridology. It indicates a hardening of arteries and can imply a hardening of attitudes in a person.
It most definitely indicates a DETERMINED AND DECISIVE NATURE!

Also referred to as the Sodium Ring by Iridologists, it usually takes 50-60 years to develop. If it starts developing earlier, for instance before the age of 40, this is very significant and means all the characteristics spoken about here are even more relevant.
It is natural with age to develop strong opinions. These people often assume a rigid attitude or position and can stand with it judgementally.

This can sound somewhat negative. However, the challenge, especially for these people but for all of us as we age is to remain ‘open minded’ and keep learning so the Ring of Determination can manifest mainly in the positive characteristics of determination, devotion, self-realization and self-sufficiency.
